Our Health Heroes awards 2019

Our Health Heroes awards is a UK-wide campaign dedicated to celebrating, recognising and saying ‘thank-you’ to the thousands of unsung heroes who work in the NHS, social care sector, private healthcare and specialist healthcare services throughout the UK.

The awards are run by Skills for Health, a national charity dedicated to supporting the health and social care workforce through national campaigns, workforce development, training and skills development.

Anyone can make a nomination, including members of the public, for anyone working or volunteering in health and social care.

The eight award categories are:

• Operational Support Worker
• Clinical Support Worker
• Outstanding Contribution Award
• Apprentice of the Year
• Integrated Team of the Year
• Staff Wellbeing Employer
• Workforce Planning Team of the Year
• Learning and Development team/project of the year
